Everything you need to know about Revisall — for school leaders, teachers, students, and parents.

General

Revisall is a curriculum-centric SaaS platform built for secondary schools. It empowers teachers by automating formative assessments, identifying student knowledge gaps, and generating personalised study plans for every learner — all aligned to the curriculum they teach.

For students, Revisall delivers a gamified, personalised revision experience built around their specific gaps. For teachers, it dramatically reduces the time spent on planning, content creation, and marking.

Revisall is primarily a teacher-first platform — it is purchased by schools and deployed by teachers. The platform automates the workflows that consume teacher time (lesson planning, content development, marking, gap analysis) and delivers the output of that work directly to students as personalised study plans.

It is designed for secondary school learners aged 13–17 and their educators, with particular relevance to schools that operate in high student-to-teacher ratio environments.

Revisall is currently live in pilot schools. We are working directly with a select group of secondary schools to validate the platform in real classroom environments, gather feedback, and refine the experience before broader rollout.

If your school is interested in joining the pilot, request a demo and our team will be in touch.

Revisall is currently focused on Africa-wide deployment, with initial pilot activity in Southern Africa. Our platform is being built with the realities of African secondary education in mind — curriculum structures, classroom sizes, and resource environments.

We have global ambitions and the platform architecture supports international expansion. If your school is outside Africa and you are interested, we would still love to hear from you.

We are not publishing pricing publicly at this stage. Schools participating in the current pilot programme are engaged directly with our team on commercial terms.

If you would like to understand what working with Revisall looks like for your school, request a demo and we will walk you through everything including how we approach pricing.

Schools & Teachers

Revisall automates the most time-consuming parts of a teacher's workflow:

Lesson planning — generate structured lesson plans aligned to curriculum objectives using Bloom's Taxonomy, without starting from scratch.

Scheme of Work — build term and topic schemes of work that map to your curriculum framework automatically.

Formative assessments — create, distribute, and auto-mark assessments aligned to your topics.

Gap analysis — the platform identifies exactly which topics each student is struggling with, without you having to analyse results manually.

Study notes and content — generate curriculum-aligned study materials and revision notes for your class.

Analytics and reporting — real-time dashboards showing class-wide and individual learner performance.

No — and this is a core principle of how we build Revisall. The platform is designed to amplify what teachers do, not replace them. Every personalised study plan a student receives is built from the curriculum structure and lesson objectives that the teacher sets up. The teacher remains the professional authority; Revisall handles the administrative execution.

Initial setup — entering your school's curriculum structure, subject topics, and class information — typically takes one to two hours for a single subject. Once set up, the platform runs continuously and the ongoing time investment per week is significantly lower than the workflows it replaces.

During the pilot, our team works directly with schools to assist with onboarding and setup.

Yes. Revisall is designed to sit alongside your existing resources, not replace them. You bring your curriculum knowledge and professional judgement; Revisall handles the automation. The platform can also integrate with your school's existing systems via API — student lists, timetables, and assessment platforms.

Revisall provides two levels of reporting. Class-wide reports show you topic-level performance across your entire class — where most students are struggling, which topics have been mastered, and how closely students are following their study plans. Individual learner profiles show you the same data per student, so you can identify who needs intervention before it shows up in exam results.

All analytics update in real time as students work through their study plans.

Students

Revisall builds a personalised revision plan based on your actual knowledge gaps — not a generic worksheet that treats everyone in your class the same. It identifies which topics you need to work on most, prioritises them by how much they will impact your exam result, and delivers study activities matched to your level.

You also earn XP, badges, and can compete with peers — making revision something you actually want to come back to.

Your study plan is built from three inputs: your teacher's curriculum structure and lesson objectives, the results of formative assessments that identify your specific knowledge gaps, and your own learning profile. The platform uses AI to combine these and generate a plan that targets your weakest areas first, in a sequence designed to build understanding progressively.

The plan updates continuously as you complete activities and your knowledge improves.

As you work through your study plan, you earn XP (experience points) for completing activities, answering correctly, and maintaining daily revision streaks. XP builds your learner level over time.

You can also earn badges for mastering topics, completing challenges, and hitting milestones. Peer competitions and class challenges let you compete with classmates — adding a social dimension to revision that keeps motivation high between lessons.

Getting a question wrong is part of the process. Revisall provides instant, detailed feedback explaining why your answer was incorrect and what the correct reasoning is. The topic is flagged in your gap profile and more activities on that concept will be surfaced in your study plan to help you build understanding over time.

Students are onboarded through their school. Your teacher or school administrator will set up your account and link you to your class and curriculum. You will receive login details from your school — you do not need to sign up independently.

Parents

Visibility for parents is something we take seriously. The platform provides data on study plan adherence, topic performance, and knowledge gap closure — the kind of information that tells you whether your child is actually revising and where they are improving.

Parent-facing reporting features are part of the product roadmap. For current pilot schools, speak to your child's teacher or school for progress updates.

Yes. Student data is stored securely on Microsoft Azure's cloud infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade security, access controls, and compliance frameworks. We do not sell or share student data with third parties for any commercial purpose.

Student accounts are created and managed by the school, not independently by children, which gives schools and parents control over who has access.

Revisall uses gamification — badges, XP, challenges — as a deliberate mechanism to increase engagement with learning, not as a distraction from it. Every activity a student completes is curriculum-aligned and tied to their specific knowledge gaps. The "game" elements are rewards for educational progress, not a separate entertainment layer.

The platform is teacher-led: what students see is determined by their teacher's curriculum setup, not by an algorithm optimising for screen time.

Revisall is deployed at the school level — it is not a product parents purchase individually for their children. The best way to bring Revisall to your child's school is to speak to the Head of Department or school principal and point them to our demo request page. We are happy to present to school leadership directly.

Curriculum & Subjects

Revisall currently supports the IGCSE / Cambridge curriculum framework, including Cambridge 0580 Mathematics. We are actively expanding to additional African national curricula as part of our growth roadmap.

If your school uses a different curriculum framework and you are interested in Revisall, get in touch — curriculum expansion is driven directly by school demand.

Revisall currently covers six core secondary school subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and Accounting. Each subject includes structured topic coverage, formative assessments, and study materials aligned to the curriculum.

Additional subjects will be added as the platform grows. Explore the current subject coverage.

Bloom's Taxonomy provides the cognitive framework for how Revisall structures lesson planning and assessment content. When a teacher creates a lesson plan or assessment on Revisall, the platform helps map learning objectives to the appropriate Bloom's level — from recall and comprehension through to analysis, evaluation, and creation.

This ensures that the study activities students receive are not just factual recall but build the higher-order thinking skills required for exam success.

AI & Technology

Revisall uses a combination of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI to power its core features. NLP and ML underpin the knowledge gap analysis and learning profile generation. Generative AI is used to produce lesson plan content, assessment questions, and study materials aligned to curriculum objectives.

The platform is built on Microsoft Azure's cloud infrastructure, using Azure AI services.

Revisall's gap analysis engine analyses student responses to formative assessments — not just whether an answer was right or wrong, but which concepts and cognitive steps the student appears to be missing. Over time, as students complete more activities, the model builds a richer picture of each learner's strengths and gaps at the topic and sub-topic level.

This analysis is then used to prioritise content in the student's study plan, surfacing the most impactful gaps first.

All AI-generated content in Revisall is constrained to the curriculum framework set up by the teacher and validated against curriculum standards. We do not deploy a general-purpose AI assistant that students can prompt freely. The content students receive is curriculum-aligned and reviewed against educational standards.

As with any AI system, we are continuously monitoring output quality and improving our content pipelines. Teachers retain visibility over the content their students receive.

No. Revisall AI guides understanding — it does not provide shortcuts. When a student gets something wrong, the platform explains the concept and presents related activities to build mastery. It does not generate answers for students to copy or bypass the learning process.

Responsible AI is a core design principle: the platform is built to improve learning outcomes, not to make assessment easier to game.

Privacy & Data Safety

All Revisall data is stored on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. Azure provides enterprise-grade security, encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and compliance capabilities. We are currently finalising our data residency region and will publish this detail ahead of full commercial launch.

No. Student data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Data is used solely to power the features of the Revisall platform — generating study plans, tracking progress, and producing analytics for teachers.

Student accounts are created and managed by the school — not independently by students. This gives schools and parents meaningful control over who can access the platform. Students log in with credentials provided by their school, and account management is handled by designated school administrators.

Schools retain ownership of their data. In the event a school ends its relationship with Revisall, we will work with the school to provide a data export in a usable format and ensure all school and student data is deleted from our systems within a defined period. Full data handling terms are covered in our school agreement.
